As our community grows, so does the number of families who rely on the Club for safe, enriching, and dependable out-of-school programming. In response to overwhelming demand and transportation challenges, we launched satellite sites – bringing the Club directly into neighborhoods where access to our main clubhouse isn’t possible.
This September, we’re launching our Annual Campaign with a bold goal:
Raise $100,000 to expand staffing, increase program space, and enhance offerings at both sites so we can serve even more kids.

ABOUT WAVERLY
In 2022, the Boys & Girls Club of Albany opened it’s first after-school site at Waverly Elementary, offering services to an otherwise underserved community. Currently the programs are run out of the gymnasium, cafeteria, and stage, but funds raised this past year have allowed the Club to begin the process of putting a stand alone building on Waverly’s campus that will house an Education Room, a Games Room, and a Technology Lab giving them a clubhouse to call their own.
ABOUT MEADOW RIDGE:
The Boys & Girls Club began offering a before and after school program at Meadow Ridge Elementary in the fall of 2024 following the closure of CAPS, ensuring families still had access to vital childcare services. In its first year, the program served 117 members, providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment before and after the school day. As that program continues to grow, so does the resources needed to be able to offer the same quality programming.
